Katie brings more than 18 years of medical experience to true., with a background that spans plastic and reconstructive surgery, the OR, patient recovery, dermatology, pediatric medicine, and internal medicine — including hospital rounds at Cedars-Sinai. Throughout her career, she’s cared for patients post-surgery, assisted with consults, led office teams, and even helped edit a surgery book. Her experience also stretches outside medicine into Wealth Management and Human Resources, giving her a unique blend of clinical and interpersonal expertise.
At the heart of Katie’s work is compassion. She prides herself on helping others and approaches every patient with genuine empathy and care.
Originally from Grand Rapids, Katie spent eight years in Chicago during college and began her medical career in Los Angeles. Swimming has been a constant in her life since age three. She loves staying active, whether she’s traveling, hiking, exploring new restaurants, shopping, or spending time with her fiancé and corgi. And yes, she still makes time for a good swim.
