Meet Our New Providers
Megan Mouser, NP-C, is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over ten years of experience in patient-centered care. Her expertise spans a wide range of healthcare services, including preventive health, chronic disease management, and women’s wellness. Megan’s extensive expertise in Family Medicine compliments true.’s mission to provide women with exceptional care in every aspect of health.
Megan is the proud owner of two rescue dogs with big personalities and loves everything about caring for her furry kids. She’s thrilled and feeling grateful to begin her dream job by joining the true. team. Megan is eager to connect with her patients and begin empowering them to take control of their health journey.
Dr. Tricia Mueller, DO, brings 17 years of clinical experience in Family Medicine to the table. She offers expertise in preventive care and lifestyle medicine. Dr. Mueller cannot wait to help women achieve their health goals, especially during midlife transitions.
Dr. Mueller is an outdoor enthusiast who loves everything from water activities to cheering on her favorite teams. She enjoys getting active and attending her children’s sporting events. Her love and support for her family is a direct reflection of her passion for empowering patients. Dr. Mueller is excited to join true., and to focus on treating her patients as whole individuals, embracing the interconnectedness of the body, and closing the gap in menopause care.
The true. Difference
true. Women’s Health is a concierge medicine model that provides a total wellness experience for women. Our providers are experts in midlife, menopause, sexual health, primary care, and weight management. With combined expertise and a model focused on individual patient care, true. puts patients at the center of their health journeys.
Becoming a patient of true. means longer appointments, 24/7 provider access via text, and access to proprietary tools like SEEDS®, Menopause Transition Scale®, and Symptom Circle. Our team of providers are passionate about delivering individualized care, focusing on preventive measures and personalized healthcare plans. We optimize women’s health with tailored treatments and resources to help our patients reclaim confidence in their health.
Prioritizing Preventive Care
Both Megan and Dr. Mueller have seen first-hand the barriers patients experience in traditional healthcare systems that prevent them from receiving the best care. The traditional system does not prioritize doctor-patient relationships, with quick visits, a lack of open dialog, and a focus on treating a disease rather than preventive care. Witnessing these healthcare gaps has deepened our new providers’ desire to provide care personalized to each individual, with a mindset that healthy aging is possible!
true. uses tools, like W*A*I Pointes®, to start an open dialogue and keep providers and patients accountable in prioritizing all aspects of women’s health when creating a personalized health plan. This framework becomes a building block for examining a patient’s health history, their current health status, where they would like to be in the future, and how we, as a team, can help guide them there.
Take-Away Tips:
- Know your symptoms and track your habits.
- Utilize SEEDS® and form healthy habits.
- Your weight does not equate your worth.
- You are your best advocate and know your body best! Don’t be afraid to be honest with your provider about your symptoms and preferences.
- Make changes that align with your personal goals and values, not just because someone else suggests it.
Questions To Ask Your Provider:
- What is my phase of ovarian function?
- What is the status of my metabolic health?
- Am I a candidate for anti-obesity medications?
- What are my recommended screenings, and on what schedule? What are the next steps, and what should I be watching for?
- What signs and symptoms should I be aware of as I approach menopause, and how can being better informed help me prepare?
