Supporting Women Through Every Stage of Health & Life
Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner

Meet Nichole Washington, FNP-BC, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner passionate about helping women feel confident, energized, and supported throughout every stage of life. With a background rooted in rehabilitation and primary care, Nichole brings a whole-person, relationship-focused approach to women’s health.
Nichole began her nursing career in 2006 in rehabilitation care. This experience helped shape her approach to medicine, grounded in resilience, whole-person healing, and the power of steady, supportive guidance over time. Nichole earned her Master of Nursing degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2011 and is board-certified.
Early in her advanced practice career, Nichole worked in an inpatient neurological rehabilitation unit, providing medical management and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary care teams. While this experience helped her build a strong clinical foundation, she discovered that her true calling was in primary care, where she could build long-term relationships and care for patients across the lifespan.
Nichole went on to spend more than a decade in family practice, delivering comprehensive primary care that included preventive services, management of chronic conditions, and in-office procedures. She is known for being a thoughtful listener and a collaborative partner, taking the time to truly understand each patient’s goals and concerns.
Her clinical interests include weight loss and metabolic health, with a focus on helping women restore energy, build confidence, and make sustainable lifestyle changes. Nichole believes healthcare works best as a partnership and looks forward to serving as a trusted, steady member of each patient’s care team.
Originally from Traverse City, Nichole fell in love with West Michigan while attending college and has proudly called it home ever since. Outside of the clinic, life is joyfully busy with her young son. She also enjoys traveling—especially to warm, sunny beach destinations—reading, and getting creative with crafty projects whenever she finds a little spare time.
